Hawks’ Trae Young ousted in 1st Round of H-O-R-S-E competition

Trae Young, the second-year point guard for the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, has been engaging with fans on social media and participating in a number of contests during quarantine.

Though Young seems to enjoy getting in on the action as much as he can, the emerging superstar has hit a bit of a dry spell lately.

In the backyard, that is.

Young recently lost an NBA 2K video game competition in the second round to D’Andre Ayton of the Phoenix Suns. Meanwhile, the former Oklahoma Sooner didn’t even make it that far in a game of online “H-O-R-S-E,” which was played over a Zoom call in Norman.

The first player to oust Young was former NBA star Chauncey Billups, who proved he still has some game left in him.

What’s next for Young?

Hopefully, getting back onto the court to finish out his sophomore NBA season. As you can see though, it’s all just fun and games for now.
