NASCAR Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500 Stage 1 Recap

The Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500 got off to a hot start Sunday with intermediate track ace Denny Hamlin duking it out with Kyle Larson for the lead in Stage 1. However, following competition cautions, Larson quickly regained the lead for good to take home a Stage 1 win.

Larson led 75 of the 105 laps in Stage 1, proving his win at Las Vegas and strong finish in Homestead were no fluke on intermediate tracks. The new Hendrick Motorsports teammate of Chase Elliott, William Byron and Alex Bowman looks to be the most dominant of the four this far, but the group has shown incredible speed as a whole through the first races of the season.
